The "New Order" button and other tools may appear greyed out for a few reasons:

No active connection: If your MetaTrader platform is not connected to the server, you won't be able to place orders. Check the bottom-right corner for the connection status.

Using an Investor Password: If you are logged in with an investor password, you can only view the account and cannot place or manage trades. You’ll need to log in with your master password to access these features.

Market Closed: If the market for the instrument you're trying to trade is closed, order-related buttons will be disabled.

Incorrect Symbol: If the chart you're viewing is for a symbol that is not tradeable, the tools will be greyed out. Ensure that the correct, tradable instrument is selected in the Market Watch window.
To resolve the issue, check your connection, password, and market status, and ensure you're working with a tradeable instrument.
